QVF® Boresist®
- Smooth -
- Transparent -
- Non-flammable -
Use
QVF®Boresist® glass tubes have proven themselves for decades in the discharge of chemical or organic waste water.
Borosilicate glass 3.3 is a universally corrosion-resistant material that surpasses most metals and plastics in this property.
For your safety QVF® Boresist® glass tubes:
-less adhesion in the pipelines due to smooth surface
-optical status control through transparency
-non-combustible tested material
-hermetically sealed
The piping system
The QVF-flange system Boresist® is approved according to DIN 1986, part 4 as waste water and ventilation pipe and is marked accordingly with the test seal (approval number: Z-42.1-234).
.
Universal corrosion resistance
Borosilicate glass 3.3 is resistant to acids, salt solutions and organic substances and in these properties it surpasses most metals and other materials. Borosilicate glass 3.3 is chemically neutral.
High temperature resistance
Taking into account the materials used in the couplings, the maximum operating temperature is 120°C.
The permissible temperature difference for rapid temperature changes is max. 120 K.
The linear expansion coefficient is only 3.25 . 10-6/K between 20°C and 300°C, i.e. thermal expansions are so low that they can be absorbed by the couplings.
Pressure and vacuum resistance
All nominal diameters of the BORESIST® - pipe system are vacuum resistant.
The permissible internal pressure is -1 to +1 bar.
Fire behaviour
Borosilicate glass 3.3 is a non-flammable substance of class A1, according to DIN 4102.
Environmental friendliness
Borosilicate glass 3.3 does not release any substances hazardous to air or groundwater - even in the event of fire. It is completely recyclable and therefore a material with a guaranteed future.
