Thar Process, Inc. announced today that it has entered into an agreement with De Dietrich Process Systems to distribute and support Thar's lab to pilot scale supercritical CO2 extraction / purification (SCF) products. The underlying technology, behind Thar Process is the use of upcycled CO2 to replace hydrocarbon solvents in both R&D and manufacturing processes. De Dietrich Process Systems will be the exclusive distributor for Thar Process in most countries in Europe + Middle East/Africa (EMEA). The agreement also grants rights to help sell Thar's large industrial SCF systems throughout EMEA. Thar Process' mantra, "Sustainable Trust," matches well with De Dietrich's new Sustainable Development strategy.
Initially, the agreement will cover Thar Process’ SuperFast™ and SuperPressure™ CO2 extraction systems (SCFE) as well as the Isolator SFC™ lab to pilot scale systems for pharma, food, cosmetic and chemical processes.
